What If

Don’t you ever ask yourself what would’ve happened if you’d made a different decision? Well that happens to me a lot. But that morning  was different from the other times I have asked myself this, it felt like this question was resonating in my head, no matter what. Not even all of the honks from the cars or the people shouting and selling things in the street were louder than my thoughts and not even the sun burning my skin could’ve been more intense than that feeling.  I went to work, I sat on those little four walls for 6 hours, I went to the store to buy some food, I took the bus back home, I did all the things that any city person  would do in their daily life. And when I came home, I couldn’t get used to it, I felt like it was a stranger’s room, I felt something that I can’t describe, my chest started to hurt and my heartbeats were faster than the regular. I didn’t know why that was happening to me, after all I’ve lived in that small and empty apartment since 5 year...

The Girl's Labrynth

Not a long time ago, something shocking happened to a family who lived in a small village. One of their daughters, who was known for being someone who follows and obeys the rules, someone who is friendly, suddenly disappeared, five days before of her wedding,  Since then, living in that village had been sad and dark, there weren't people in the streets since they were afraid to disappear someday too. The first couple days of that tragic event, the parents looked for her in the woods, day and night, but there were no signs of her. They started to lose hope in finding her.  I was passing by the village, I was known for being a detective, so it was just a matter of time for her family to contact me. They asked me if I could help them to find their daughter, I accepted, I thought that such good parents shouldn’t go through this.  I didn’t know where to st...

A Summary of "The Boy who Flew too High"

“The boy who flew too high” is a Greek myth, which tells the story of Icarus and his father Daedalus, who were prisoners of King Minos due to the father’s brilliant and creative ideas. Both of them wanted to leave the tower where they were prisoned, but it wasn’t that easy, so after thinking for a long time, the father came up with the idea of making a pair of wings to fly away from the tower. The father asked the king for the materials without revealing his plan and once he got it, he started making them. When the pair of wings were ready, the father and his son practiced and mastered the art of flying. Once they were ready, the father told Icarus to leave and fly back home, Daedalus warned Icarus about three things: 1) not losing his path, 2) not flying too low because of the waves 3) not flying too high because of the sun. Icarus started his journey, soon he discovered how fun flying was, so he started flying too high. While watching him, his father tried to call him, but Icar...
